This crank mandrel is a bolt on solution for people wanting to run vacuum pumps or dry sump set ups on the Holden V8.
This mandrel was designed and made all in house by Reidspeed. The mandrel is designed to only work with Reidspeed pulley kits, as it has a machined step/spigot in the back face that locates inside the front of our crank pulleys.
This design ensures that the mandrel runs true to the crank and also puts less load on the mounting bolts.
The end nut/cap is machined from 6061 alloy it has an internal key so you can turn your engine over by hand with the mandrel fitted.
The mandrel is the common 1inch diameter shaft with 1/8 keyway that suits most after market vacuum pump drive pulleys.
The mandrel has been black oxide coated to help prevent rust.
